See-Capture-Experience: Sydney

New South Wales, Australia

My Experience: I Love Sydney. Why? Because of the awesome people, nice atmosphere, beautiful weather and the great surroundings. I love the fact that the people and the atmosphere in the city are so relaxed and cool. You don’t really feel like you’re walking in a business district full of busy business people. It feels like you’re in a relaxed place where modern architecture meets the calmness of the water and the green parks. This is a city where you can truly enjoy every minute of every day that you spend there.

Best Time to Travel: Spring

September-November

Nice temperature to undertake daytrips: sailing, bushwalks, beaches and experience the city

Climate: Mild

November-March: 20-30 Degrees

April-June: 8-10 Degrees (lowest temp)

July-October: 15-20 Degrees

Top Attractions: Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Sydney Tower, Royal Botanic Gardens, Bondi Beach, Darling Harbour, Manly, Anzac Bridge

Best Video/Photo Spots:

-Walk along the waterside to the end of the Botanic Gardens and you’ll get a beautiful view of the Sydney Skyline. Just before the end, stop and take a picture of the Opera House with in the background the Harbour Bridge. Walk into the Botanic Gardens and see the flying foxes hanging in the trees.

-Do the Coastal Walk. Start at Bondi Beach and walk to Coogee Beach. Experience Sydney’s most famous beaches.

-Climb the Harbour Bridge. Enjoy the wide views of the harbor at the top of the Bridge (134 m above sea level).

-Go to the top of the Sydney Tower (305 m). If you don’t want to spend too much money, the Sydney Tower is a great option for you, to get a top view of the whole city.

-Go to Hyde Park. Shoot some footage of Sydney’s other icons, like the Anzac Memorial and St. Mary’s Cathedral.
